Central Co-op Community Support Fund 

Terms & Conditions 

By completing this application, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. 

  • The Membership number used at the pre-qualification stage is my own, plus one other for someone who is also connected to the project. 
  • My organisation is a not-for-profit community co-operative, charity, community group, or social enterprise. 
  • My organisation has a bank account (not a personal account). 
  • Our beneficiaries are in the Central Co-op trading area 
  • The project is consistent with our Co-operative Values and Principles* 
  • My application is not for the provision of a motor vehicle, salaries, rent, transport and bills, one off costs – including training, events and trips, part funding of a large capital project**s or for the benefit of one individual. 
  • If I have been previously successful, I’ve waited 48 months to re-apply. 
  • Our project is consistent with Central Co-op’s commitment to supporting diverse projects that represent the whole of our communities in line with our co-operative values of equity and equality. 
  • We will actively engage with follow up activities including PR activities and a short report on the difference the funds have made. 
  • You or the organisation you represent have completed and actioned appropriate risk assessments and safeguarding considerations. 
  • We agree that Central Co-op bears no liability for any unintended consequences of the project funded.

**We will consider funding a defined part of a larger project, such as the refurbishment of premises, if the project will be completed within 12 months of the grant being awarded and there is clarity on what part of the project or item the Society would be funding 

Before you begin filling in the application form, please be aware that  we will require the following information: 

  • Your details 
  • Organisation details and what it does 
  • Organisation type 
  • The amount of funding you are applying for and what it will be spent on 
  • What outcomes you hope to achieve
