iPro Sport is taking its isotonic sports drink out to the local community with help of Central England Co-operative and Derby County Football players, over the next two weeks.

As the Championship race hots up, Derby County are sending some of their top stars out to the region’s Co-operative stores to engage with the local community as football fever reigns.

The players will be joining representatives of iPro Sport to sign bottles of the isotonic drink at The Co-operative food stores in Belper, Ripley and Ashbourne Rd.*

Lisa Marraffa, Marketing Director at iPro Sport, said: “Central England Co-operative plays a key role as a community retailer and they have embraced our sponsorship of Derby County and the iPro Stadium.  We are delighted that local stores have the opportunity to host some of the players and enable us to promote the brand at a local level.”

The events will take place over three dates in April. Wednesday 1st at Belper, Thursday 2nd at Ripley and Tuesday 7th at Ashbourne Rd. The players will be present between 3:30-4:30pm for the first two events, and 4pm-5pm for the final event.

Gary Berns, Product Manager at Central England Co-operative, commented “iPro Sport has generated mass awareness in and around Derby since its high profile sponsorship of the stadium.  We listed the drink in response to great demand and it is proving a great addition to the range.”

iPro Sport is the only sports drink of its kind on the UK market containing all natural ingredients. Alongside the natural spring water based product are complex carbohydrates and added vitamins such as B6, B12 and C – part of the recommended nutritional daily intake. iPro Sport is proven to replenish the body with minerals which are lost through sweat with its benefits fuelling the rehydration process.

iPro Sport has gained significant traction recently following numerous affiliations with sports clubs within the football, rugby, cricket and cycling sectors, as well as achieving a listing with Co-operative stores across central England.
