Cooking Guidelines

Shallow Fry: Remove all packaging from steaks and allow to come up to room temperature for approx. 10 minutes. Season steak with salt and pepper. Pre-heat 1 tbsp. of oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Place steak into frying pan over a high heat. Rare cook for 4-6 minutes. Medium cook for 6-9 minutes. Well done cook for 9-12 minutes. Turn steak occasionally. Add a knob of butter to the pan. Once cooked allow steak to rest for 3 minutes before serving. Cook times will vary depending on size and thickness of the steak. Appliances vary, these are guidelines only.
