Oven cook: Ensure food is piping hot.
180°C; Fan 160°C; Gas 4; 30 minutes per 500g plus 30 mins.
Remove joint from fridge and remove all packaging. Allow joint to come up to room temperature for approx. 15 minutes. Preheat oven. Season with salt and pepper (optional). Place in an ovenproof dish and place on the middle shelf of oven. Cook for 30 minutes per 500g plus 30 minutes. For tenderness allow the joint to rest for at least 5 minutes
before carving. Appliances vary, these are guidelines only.
Keep in fridge 2 to 5°C.
Keep on the bottom shelf of the fridge, cook and eat within 24 hours of opening.
Don't exceed the use by date.
Home Freezing - For best quality, freeze as soon as possible and always within the use by date. Use within 1 month. Defrost in a fridge. Defrost thoroughly before cooking and use within 24 hours. Don't freeze if defrosted.
