Alongside raising money for people affected by homelessness, we’re running our very popular Toy Appeal. Every child should know the excitement of receiving a gift at this magical time of year. We’re keen to make this happen. Read below to see how you can get involved.
The BillyChip Foundation
Buy a Star Deal in store between 8th November 2023 and 2nd January 2024 and we’ll donate a proportion to the BillyChip Foundation to support people affected by homelessness. Billy was an ambulance driver, and he wanted to find a way to safely support those affected by homelessness.
The BillyChip Foundation (Registered Charity number 1188779) was set up in Billy’s memory by his family. Find out more about the Foundation here.

Shelter
131,000 children in England live without a place to call home.
Shelter (Registered Charity number 263710) offer support and services nationally to help people find and keep safe housing, as well as actively campaigning for renter’s rights and social housing.
If you pay by card in store between 6th December and 2nd January, you can choose to donate 10p via Pennies to Shelter when you spend over £5.
Pennies is the leading charity working to protect and grow micro-donations. Their technology gives customers the opportunity to donate to a chosen charity when paying by card.
Toy Appeal 2023
Drop unwrapped presents into our toy collection points by 1st December, and these generous donations will be distributed to organisations such as Family Action, Birmingham and Salvation Army.
